Walk A Mile In Her Shoes--2009!!

Wow! Can you believe that we are only about 3 months away from our Walk a Mile event? We are busy finding sponsors, getting our FirstGiving online fundraising website up and running, and finding a location for our after party. And of course...reminding all of you to polish up your pumps and come back and join us on April 18th in downtown Springfield!!

But wait--we added 2 new locations. This year we will also host Walk a Mile events at Lincoln College(April 23) and Illinois College (April 25). It's going to be awesome! Thank you so much to Bridgett Thomas (Lincoln College) and Kindra Steenerson (Illinois College) for embracing this opportunity to raise awareness about sexual assault on their college campuses. More info on these events will be coming up!
