WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES- Join the march to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence!
You can't truly understand someone else's experience until you've walked a mile in his or her shoes.
We couldn't do this without our sponsors! We are currently seeking additional sponsors for all 3 event locations. Give Shelley Vaughan a call at 217-744-2560 for additional details.
Prairie Center Against Sexual Assault has a two-fold purpose: to alleviate the suffering of sexual assault victims and to prevent sexual violence. We assist men, women, children and their families through the trauma of sexual violence by providing emergency room response, medical advocacy and counseling. Prairie Center uses the power of public education to change community attitudes about the causes and consequences of sexual violence and advocates for victim rights in the law enforcement and criminal justice systems. Our prevention education programs focus on reducing the likelihood of sexual victimization, particularly in the lives of children and adolescents.
