Male Involvement Group joins the Men's March!

This year, we are pleased to announce Springfield Urban League's Male Involvement Group will be showing their support- and they are bringing a group of 23 men to take a stand against sexual violence in our community. A big thanks to Larry Hemingway for coordinating this... we did a "shoe fitting" with Larry last week..so don't miss seeing him in his 4" red stilettos! What a good sport!
In addition, the SUL will have their WOW mobile unit (Wellness on Wheels) at our registration site offering free prostrate screenings for men- along with other health screenings.

Meet our Honorary Co-Chairs for the Springfield WAM event!

I am proud to introduce our 2008 WAM Honorary Chairs...Erin and Jason Domonousky!
Erin is a Sexual Assault Survivor and she shared her story in front of the crowd last year at the post-march rally. She spoke about her attack and her journey becoming a sexual assault survivor. It was a powerful speech! Thank you, Erin and Jason, for being a part of our event and helping us raise awareness about sexual violence and ways to prevent it.
